Apple releases iOS 6.1.4, just for iPhone 5

In the last hours Apple released a new update for iOS, now reaching build 6.1.4. Anyway, this update doesn’t bring any relevant improvement, feature or bug fix for most of devices, since it is available only for iPhone 5. The change log states only one change about the audio profile;

Updated audio profile for speakerphone.

Weighting just 11MB (one of the smallest updates ever released via OTA), the new profile enhances the performance of the integrated speaker on iPhone 5. With WWDC around the corner for the presentation of iOS 7, This is expected to be the last release for iOS 6; if you’re not sure about downloading it or not, be aware that TinyUmbrella has just received an update for saving SHSH’s needed for a hypothetic downgrade.

Poche ore fa Apple ha rilasciato un nuovo update minore per iOS, che raggiunge la versione 6.1.4. Tuttavia, esso non porta nessun cambiamento rilevante dal punto di vista di bug o funzionalità, essendo disponibile solamente per l’iPhone 5. Il log riporta infatti solo un cambiamento relativo all’altoparlante;

Con il WWDC dietro l’angolo con la presentazione di iOS 7, si rivela probabilmente l’ultima release per iOS 6;  nel caso non siate ancora sicuri se procedere al download, sappiate che TinyUmbrella è stato aggiornato da poco per supportare il salvataggio dei certificati SHSH per un ipotetico downgrade.
